Her Background: Barbara graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business and Criminal Justice from Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas. A native to Kingston, Jamaica, Barbara has lived in Miami, Florida; Wichita, Kansas and now resides in the Eugene/Springfield area. She is mother to four amazing boys (ages range between 20-12 years old); married to Perry, an awesome husband, and she works as a Senior Sales Manager for a local business in Eugene.
Her Photography: Barbara Graham-Adams classifies herself as an amateur photographer, having been recently introduced to digital photography. She fell in love with photography after receiving a digital camera from her husband on her second wedding anniversary. She works primarily with digital photography to produce nature and wildlife photography, which are captured during her adventurous trips across Oregon. She enjoys finding new and exciting locations to capture the beauty around us. She uses image editing software such as Adobe Lightroom to make minor edits to her photography. Most of Barbara’s knowledge of photography was obtained from online classes and numerous books on photography; she is excited to practice what she has learned over the past 2 1/2 years. Most recently, Barbara has expanded her photography by adding her artwork to: fabric, ceramic and wood, everyday home decor and gift ideas.
Her Interests: Along with her passion for photography, Barbara is also involved with the community. She volunteers as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) as well as a Board of Director for the Fern Ridge School District. She believes in giving back to the community.
